LinkedIn QR code generator

A scan opens your profile. On a card, a slide or a conference badge, it beats spelling out your name.

Free, no sign-up, no expiry. Generated in your browser.

Scan check

PNG for screens, Canva and Word. SVG for anything a print shop will touch. PDF is the code at a fixed width, print it at 100%, not “fit to page”.

Free static codes are how people find us. We earn only when someone needs an editable code (€10 a year or €29 for good). Nothing you type is sent anywhere: the code is made in your browser.

Dot shape

Squircle

Advanced: dot size, margin, error correction

Higher error correction lets the code survive a logo, a picture or a scuffed print, but adds dots. We switch to H for you when a picture or a big logo comes in. Keep the margin at 2 dots or more for anything printed.

This is a static code: the link is baked into the dots and works without us, for as long as the link itself exists. Need to change it after printing? Editable codes, from €10.

Set a custom LinkedIn URL first (Settings, Public profile, Edit URL) so the code points at linkedin.com/in/yourname rather than a string of digits: shorter link, smaller code. Company pages use linkedin.com/company/name.

Keep the design restrained. A single colour, soft eyes and a short frame line read as professional on a card and on the last slide of a deck. If the card is dark, use the transparent background and light dots, and read the scan check warning about inverted codes on Android.

Questions

LinkedIn has its own QR code. Why make one here?

LinkedIn’s in-app code only works inside LinkedIn’s scanner. A standard code opens your profile from any camera, exports as SVG for print, and can carry your branding.

Profile or vCard code for a business card?

A vCard code saves your details offline in one tap. A LinkedIn code starts a connection. Many cards carry one of each.
