Instagram has its own in-app QR code, but it only opens inside Instagram’s scanner and it cannot be styled or exported properly. A normal QR code pointing at instagram.com/yourname opens your profile from any camera app, and if the Instagram app is installed the phone hands over to it.
The gradient here echoes the Instagram brand without copying the logo (their trademark guidelines are strict about that). Replace the frame text with what you want people to do: "Follow us", "Tag us in your photos", "See the menu on Instagram".
For a reel or a post, paste that link instead of the profile link. For a shop window, print at 10 cm or more: people scan from the pavement.
Questions
Can I use the Instagram logo in the code?
Instagram’s brand guidelines allow the glyph only in limited ways, and never recoloured or distorted. A gradient and a frame text are the safe way to make it look like Instagram.
Will the code break if I change my username?
Yes, the link changes. Either keep the username, or use a lifetime editable code you can repoint.
